Tie your colors and fabrics into your centerpieces. It’s easy enough to do yourself... or perhaps delegate the honor to one of your lovelies.
A simple cylinder vase shape is easiest to wrap, so start there.
Choose a ribbon color that works with your color theme. Go with a two to three inch wide ribbon width.
Cut a test length of ribbon, enough so it wraps around your vase a couple times and then leaves enough extra so you can tie a nice bow. Cut several more, wrap the vase and line up the bows. Ta da!
Whether a beach wedding or a mountain getaway, add some local charm with elements you find around you.
Here we imagined we were surfside. Find or buy shells, coral, driftwood.
Prune the stems off your flowers or just use flower petals and adorn. Little arrangements like this work great next to guest books, or on tables where you might have photos displayed, at the bar, etc. Have fun with it.
Add a lot of mood with a little effort.
Choose a fire-retardant tulle and buy about 4 yards of fabric for each chandelier you want to drape. More or less fabric depending on how high the lamp is and how much you want it to pool.
Consider using LED bulbs as they produce less heat.
Drape the chandelier and let it pool as desired. Of course you can also do this same treatment to other types of lamps...fromJapanese lanterns to something more modern.
