Watters premiered its Fall 2017 collections at company headquarters in Dallas, Texas last weekend. The highly-anticipated show was an intimate, behind-the-scenes opportunity to preview exciting new designs and build anticipation for the collections’ launch at New York Bridal Fashion week in April.

During the event, press, bloggers, and influencers joined retailers to preview the newest collections at one of six runway shows. Watters’ “Seraphim” Collection draws inspiration from angels, which can be seen in the celestial beadwork on Skylark and colorful, ethically-sourced feathers on Cammy.

Within the F17 “Seraphim” Collection, Watters is releasing an Exclusive Capsule Collection for the first time comprised of six gowns for the bride with distinguished tastes and made with the highest level of craftsmanship. The gowns in the Exclusive Capsule Collection feature specialty fabrications, such as French laces, Indian beadwork, and ostrich feathers. These six gowns will be available in limited quantities and offered exclusively at select retailers and premier trunk shows.

Wtoo by Watters’ “Siren Song” Collection was mused from Hans Christian Anderson’s classic, “The Little Mermaid.” Gwendolyn’s scalloped lace and skin-baring elements, as well as the mermaid-style Maharet skirt, pay homage to this inspiration.

“Metamorphosis,” Willowby by Watters’ Fall 2017 Collection, draws inspiration from the transformative process of the butterfly and is portrayed in styles like the Fladdra bodysuit and Pepela gown.

Additionally, the Watters Bridesmaids and Social Collection was premiered, which draws inspiration from the culture and colors found in Verona, Italy. Featured styles include Jodie, which is made from a new velvet-burnout fabric called Giardino Fiore, and Hudson, a timeless and elegant dress with braided trim.

Retailers, press, and bloggers also previewed the Fall 2017 Wtoo Bridesmaids and Social Collection, which was inspired by the beauty and hues of the sea.

Thank you to the vendors, retailers, and Watters staff who made the Fall 2017 Collections Premiere a success. The team at Watters looks forward to sharing more behind-the-scenes F17 coverage from New York Bridal Fashion Week in New York City April 22-April 24.
