Sydney Watters, daughter of our founder Vatana Watters, married Nicholaus Rohleder on January 20, 2024, in a picturesque ceremony at General Prim, a historic mansion in Mexico City's Colonial Juárez district. The event was a harmonious blend of personal touches, family traditions, and vibrant cultural elements. The wedding weekend was a beautiful testament to Sydney and Nick's love story, seamlessly weaving together family heritage, the rich cultural tapestry of Mexico City, and of course an amazing wedding wardrobe.

“I worked with the team to create a dramatic drop waist beaded lace corset styled over a slim fitted skirt. After Pina and Vicente presented the decor vision, which included touches of bows, I added black velvet ribbons to tie it all together. I accessorized with a cameo ring found at a vintage store while at a photo shoot in the Italian Dolomites and cherub and pearl earrings borrowed from my mother.”

Sydney’s gown, a vision of modern grace, moved effortlessly through the garden ceremony, while guests dined under twinkling lights at an intimate reception that blended classic charm with effortless sophistication.

Sydney's wedding gown was a bespoke creation from the Watters design team, featuring exquisite lace sourced from Solstisse, the same lace maker behind iconic dresses worn by Grace Kelly and Kate Middleton. The gown boasted a classic high neckline, custom hand-beading by Indian artisans, a dramatic power shoulder, and a Spanish net veil crafted by longtime friend and veil designer Toni Federici.
